Super excited to get this truck. I know i will have a ton of questions as i go but let me start with this, how can i charge at tesla super chargers stations when traveling? Do i need a special plug?

i dont have the max tow package. How much can i safely tow? I want to get a travel trailer and need to know what weight i should stay under.

what all comes in equipment group 312a on the flash?

what should i know about this truck that i dont know now?

The estimated range remaining is always wrong and won't be 320 if you charge to 100%.

I assume you're getting a 2024? There are order guides for each year that describe in detail what each trim has. I could paste it here but you need to use the search box at some point (teach a man to fish). Here's a start. Hint, check titles only:

ProPower, Locking rear axle - the order guide I mentioned above answers those questions. Not trying to be a jerk but I'll gladly answer any question you have about the order guide. Note you need to start with the Pro on page 2 and read this statement:
The following equipment is standard as indicated. Each series includes the standard equipment of the previous series, except where additions/exceptions are noted:

So when you read the Flash info, note it has everything mentioned as Standard on the Pro and XLT, unless otherwise indicated.

Lots of solutions to the Trailer Brake controller. How hard it is relative. Dealer can do it for you easy. Ask in one of those threads that @TaxmanHog mentions.

Best to ask one question at a time in the appropriate forum. You're going to love your truck.

The Flash is a great choice, congratulations! Attached is the spec sheet for the 2024 lightnings which should answer some of your questions. It looks like you will be able to tow 7700 lbs without the max tow package. if you are planning to install a level 2 charger at home a 48 amp / 11.5 kw charger is largest you will need for your truck. While DC fast charging you should to be able to pull 147 kw on a 180 kw charger. To use tesla superchargers you will need a NACS to J1772 CCS adapter. which may be included, if you are getting the portable charge cable with your vehicle. if its not in the truck with your charger when you pick it up ask the salesman to see if it should come with the truck.

Two adapters lead the list - Lectron and A2Z. Each can be bought on Amazon, but are cheaper buying direct.

You will also want an adapter for Tesla Destination chargers, like at a hotel or a private home. They both make one.

That is the not the spec sheet for 2024. It is for 2022. A lot of the specs apply to 2024 but the level 2 charge info is incorrect for ER (single charger now) and the options have changed slightly. Flash is not shown.

The order guide will have a better breakdown of features and options applicable to each trim.

@jobofly79 , as @Lucky Larry mentions, if your truck comes with the mobile power cord (most do), then the Tesla supercharger adapter is included. No need to buy one. Check your window sticker for the $500 mobile power cord option.

Yes it does come with the mobile power cord. I just checked the window sticker. Thanks for letting me know. I was about to order one haha. I will look at the adapters for hotels as I do travel some for work.
