Platinum Seat Swap! (UPDATE)

I traded a ‘19 3.5 EB Platinum for my Lightning. And besides towing and long haul ability (not a priority for me) the ONLY thing that was noticeable better in that truck than my Lightning Lariat ER were the seats. I haven’t seen the newest Platinum seats in person but they look pretty amazing.

My question is, if I found a set of Platinum seats from a salvage Lightning or ICE truck (or even a Lincoln), could they be swapped in with full functionality? I’ve tried searching this and f150gen14 to see if anyone has done it and I didn’t find anything. Could full functionality be attained by Forscan, dealership, or third party programming? Yes, I expect it to be expensive, but nice things are. What’s the consensus, could it be done?

I found a full set of like new 2023 Platinum seats. I installed the fronts today. Super easy. Four bolts per seat and a few wire harnesses. I love them!

The good- Super easy install, adjustments, memory, heat, and cool all function correctly. Super comfortable and look awesome.

The bad- Lumbar and massage not working, SRS light on, obviously headrest speakers not functioning

I’m hoping I can work in all of the lumbar and massage to work through Forscan. If not and it takes some wiring and pinning I’m up for that too. I haven’t don’t the backs yet. My full set of like new Lariat black/ gray leather seats will be posted for sale soon.

I’m open to any recommendations on the issues I need to work on.

They are in like new condition. Removed at 7k miles. Includes all seats and center console work station cover.

Does anyone have any idea if the lariat seats are plug and play in an XLT ER? How would the ventilation function even be triggered?
