Post Fordpass Update Issues

I was having all kinds of issues as well after app update. I deleted the app off my phone and reinstalled, all my issues went away. Something to try.

My wife's done that twice. She still gets a blank white screen on app startup - a symptom other iOS users have reported as well - and is consequently now locked out of our truck unless she carries a fob around with her.

I'm IOS ignorant ..... are there any permissions controls in the applications control panel?

TaxmanHog, with the new FordPass app 5.0 on Android 14 I am finally able to charge at home again with the preferred times feature that I had lost with the previous FordPass app version.
With the new version every works fine except the "Plug & Charge" slider under the energy tab; if tried to turn it on within seconds it slide back to off; "Share Charging Access" used to do that as well....
I followed what you recommended in clearing the cache and stopping the app in Android system apps; it did fix the "Share Charging Access" slider issue after 24 hours but not the "Plug & Charge" slider defaulting to off.... Any idea or suggestions to resolve this "Plug & Charge" defaulting issue? Thank you for any info.

Check the connected service page and your active credit card to confirm it's still valid.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to check next.

Do you have other drivers with access to the truck on another install of Fordpass as a designated driver?

Not certain that would be an issue, especially if they weren't the primary account holder who would control payment methods.

BTW, it's working well on my S24-Ultra / Android

I got the climate working, it seems like the setting in the truck somehow got reverted to not allow remote climate start. Once the climate control works then you access to the options.

This is a critical concern for many other folks experiencing this problem

The charge slider is still useless and every time I back up the sensors light up like it's Armageddon.

Love this truck but damn @Ford Motor Company the software is FUNKY.

@peloazul I have no idea what modules may be dependent if any at all. Who knows with the scattershot distribution of updates?

I did also delete and reinstall, this also may have resolved the climate issue.

Do you remember what setting you changed in the truck exactly?
