Got my Lightning back in early December. Everything been great weather here where I am in Canada has been in the low 30s Fahrenheit. The last few day when driving the truck, the power gauge has been below 100. Even if I cycle the key it might go up to the but not to 100%. Temperature today is 16°F. Not sure if this is normal or not truck is kept in a garage not heated but it’s about 38 to 42° in the Garage.

Yes it's normal.

The battery wants a temp around 73. 38 to 42 is very cold.

If you want it to show 100%, set a departure time and leave it plugged in. Battery will warm to 59 degrees.

The available power is also related to your current state of charge and will start dropping off as it gets low. These factors work together so you can start to see drop off at warmer temps with a low battery or colder temps and a more fully charged battery.

I will say that compared to our Mach-e the Lighting is great about maintaining full power over a wider range of conditions.

Ok thank you. Yes have noticed less power in our Mach E but it is a premium extended range so no power gauge just going by the way the car feels at the time.

I use the quiet screen and never see reduced power!
