Preordered in May of 2021 still nothing

I was able to place an order several months ago, and received a VIN (waiting for a PRO)
Production was supposed to start two weeks ago. I just received an email stating that they’re sorry, have no idea when the truck will go into production, but have graciously promised to email again within 45 days. What they’ll say in 45 days is anyone’s guess.
Call me paranoid, but I don’t think they want to actually sell any of the Pro’s.

You didn't preorder anything. You had a reservation, which then allowed you to order at a future date.

You can still order a Pro now, so yours will be built eventually. When you do get a build date, do not be surprised if it changes multiple times.

Have you received a BUILD WEEK assignment on your personal order page?
Have you confirmed the truck is essentially built, but delayed in being marked as built?

I agree with others, your reservation date has no bearing on the actually production, only the order date. But also suspect the Pros are being de-prioritized somehow even after ordered. My order date was 8/2/23, with production week of 10/2/23. It went into production 10/15/23, and still no updated 'built' status. I know there are other trucks that went into production after me, that are already built and 'shipped.' Not a big deal, they can take the time they need and just an observation, but a little confusing for us Pro owners I think.

Yes pros have always been the lowest priority for Ford.
For my 23 pro it was 6 months from order to blend.
Looks like 24 orders will be the same.

My Pro has all the same dates as yours, but then also built on 10/22 and shipped 10/23. Maybe your tracker just hasn't updated?

I would assume again that pro orders from fleets take priority. Single ordersight take some time but custom orders always take time.
