Replacement rear (driver side) light

Hello,

Does anyone know a good place to get affordable light replacements for a 2023 Lariat? Someone ran into my driver side light and condensation is happening inside the fixture. Ford wants 2700 to replace it. My nephew just left Ford as a tech and can do the replacement - just need the part.

I have the same issue. A crack lead to water damage, which fried the BLIS sensor inside the taillight, and Ford wants $3200 to replace the entire taillight and sensor. You may have the same problem if water has pooled in the bottom. My truck is throwing BLIS error messages and cross-traffic sensors disabled.

The sensor itself is cheap, but I do not yet know how to use FORSCAN to reprogram the sensor. If your nephew is able to do a write-up on how to use FORSCAN to reprogram a new light/sensor, that would be very valuable to me (and hopefully others in this community)

It's insane the amount of money they want for these, and it is not limited to the lightning. Other F150s are having issues with water incursion. def something to keep and eye on for any issues

Just remember there are two versions of the tail lights (one for Pro/XLT and one for Lariat Platinum). Some eBay sellers are not doing a good job showing which one. The seller @Blochead21 linked to is very good and shows the difference. I have bought from that seller and recommend.

Also, if your BLIS module is undamaged you can easily transfer it over to the new light - just three T20 screws. Then no need to reprogram.

Pretty sure that's the Lariat version that OP needs. It has the trapezoidal backup lamp.

Try a local bodyshop. Had water in a fog lamp while ago. Dealer wanted $1000 to replace. Body shop did it for $200 with OEM part
