Hi @The Weatherman,

I apologize if my previous post upset you and others that have posted on this forum/thread and haven't heard back/still don't have a working charger.

We are currently transitioning to a new process to better support our customers on forums like this, and as part of this transition, we are currently trying to review and monitor comments, messages, and mentions - and the one I responded to above was a notification that came up on most recently a few days ago on Tuesday. It is going to take some time for the transition to catch up to all the activity, but please know we are working to get to as many comments, messages, and mentions in the fastest way possible.

I also apologize to you and all those that do not yet have a working adapter. We know this can be really frustrating and this forum is a good way for me to try and help.

I am currently working on trying to get an official statement and update and I can share it to this thread.

Also -- I would invite you and others to also send me a message and I can see if I can get a status for your particular order.

Thanks again for the feedback

-Brian from Ford

Just used that Ford supplied adapter for the first time a few minutes ago.
Work seamlessly. The Tesla app worked perfectly, little pricey, but well worth it. Charge curve was great, went right up to about 155KWh, stayed there until I hit 50% then dropped to 109. I unplugged at that point. Took me a minute to figure out how to get the adapter out of the Tesla port, felt like an idiot that I didn’t notice the release switch on the adapter before I attached it. Probably took me 20 seconds of staring at it.
Anyway, what a great move.

Got my replacement today, it's the larger (Lectron?) version. I just used the original adapter on Monday, no issues other than the first charger I tried was very slooooow. I tried a different one at the same station (Whistler, BC) and it worked fine. Got the original adapter packed up and ready to send back, though. My return address was already printed on the label and my original adapter order was:

I haven't received shipping notification for my replacement adapters yet, but FedEx app does show two return labels for both defective adapters have been prepared. Sooo close, now.

Received replacement adapter that was supposed to have shipped Jan-7-2025, but for some reason never did.

After several phone calls with FedEx and the Parts and Accessories group at Ford and a few DM’s with @Ford Motor Company It actually did ship on Jan-16–2024 and arrived today.

Thanks to Brian, with Ford Motor Company, for listening to an old man’s rants and working to resolve the issue.
