How many rodent animals, or racoons seek out vehicles because they are sources of heat, the heat in the engine compartment of an ICE. It would be worth considering why mice choose to hide in vehicles, what is it offering them? Heat? I don’t think EVs offer as EVs don’t have large sources of heat.

I got the gallon jug sprayer of Grandpa Gus from Amazon.

Hosed everything down.

Minty fresh now.

I also did the expanded sheet steel grating to fit over the top of my cabin air filter so the little ***** can't get into the HVAC ducting from the intake under the cowl (behind the PCM mounted on the firewall).

The vinyl wire coverings give off a scent that attracts them, apparently it's tasty to them as well.

I'd try to figure out a way to put the wires in conduit the best you can. They may chew through the conduit as well though.
