Not currently, there was an addon module for older sync screens, but nothing that I've seen yet that allows this functionality on the Sync 4 systems.

No, there is no functionality to cast an individual app or the phone's screen to the infotainment screen.

Your best bet is to get a portable monitor that accepts HDMI and use the following adapter with your iPhone.

On a rooted android phone I used aa aio tweaker and screen2auto and got it working on my 21. It mirrors your android phone to the truck screen and uses the truck screen as the touch screen for the phone as well
Youtube and amazon prime video work, Netflix currently has a black screen but can be fixed with some programming on the rooted phone, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Wouldn't your wife's iPad work just as well? There are apps avaialble to screen share Android to iOS devices like and iPad.

There is an App called ‘Ford Play’ which appears to do what you are looking for. Apparently, it can broadcast either to or from another device. I happened to download it yesterday but haven’t had a chance to use it. I will try later today and send you a report-out.

Fail. I tried to use Ford Play but it turns out to be an app for projecting from a phone to a seatback tablet device. Oh well. ?

You setup Apple Carplay to connect to your Sync4 system, and then you can open google maps from the carplay tab on the sync 4 screen.
