Seatbelt Warning

Wondering if anyone else has this issue...

My 23 XLT will randomly throw a seatbelt warning - either front passanger or rear passanger. Then the next time I get in the truck, it will be gone. Days or even weeks will pass and another error message is given, but only until the next time I start the truck.

Any ideas?

Pull up the seatbelt display on the center cluster, and watch for which seat is giving your truck grief, might be a poorly seated connector barely making/breaking contact

No and sometimes it says front passanger seatbelt and other times rear passanger. Going to get it to Ford next week.

It could be a glitch in the seatbelt sensor system. Sometimes these things can be a bit tricky to pinpoint. Have you considered taking it in for a car servicing? Pay attention to servicing stop. A professional mechanic might be able to run diagnostics and identify the root cause of the problem. It's always better to address these issues sooner rather than later to prevent any potential safety concerns down the road.

On my ‘24 XLT with 7k miles I’m getting a driver seatbelt warning sound when seatbelt is engaged and dash console shows a green checkmark that the seatbelt is engaged.

Problem occurs intermittently.

Problem goes away after 10-15 seconds.

Might try turning the seatbelt chime off. Can turn back on after a bit to see if it still occurs.
