Second opinion on spray on bed liner from factory

Not sure why you're hesitating. Just go in and at least get it documented. They aren't going to do anything if you don't ask. This is not normal wear.

Having no experience with liners, I didn't know if we were over reacting or not. He's going have his local dealer look at it. Haven't heard yet how long he'll have to wait for an appointment.

Apologies if I seemed harsh (easy to do in text) I've had both after market and factory (my Lightning). Spent a ton of time researching before I did had my Rhino brand sprayed in my Tundra. Seemed that all the peeling problems were due to faulty installation rather brand. If it wasn't perfectly clean the lining material would start to peel. Nothing to do with use. I've seen heavily used lined beds with deep gouge's that didn't peel around the scratches. If it's done right. Putting a plastic liner on top would invalidate your liner warranty as the buffeting by the plastic would wear away the liner in spots. I know we're not dealing with Lexus so warranty coverage might require more work but in the long run just ignoring it will be worse .
