Mine has done the same things since I bought the truck. I've had it in the shop twice with no solution, yet. I think I saw on the forum that someone else had the same issue, and the solution was to replace the sensors. I'm making my case w/ the dealership for something like that, too. right now I have the reverse sensors turned off.
Mine just started doing this after one year but I havenāt checked to see if they are clean. I have noticed this seems to happen when the angle of the sun is just right. So it could be that also. Keeping an eye on it.
Went through the car wash yesterday and visually inspected them afterwards. Still happening. I have my 20k mile dealer visit next month so I'll ask them when I drop it off.
This is what my dealer did but sensors still get randomly triggered when nothing is there. I donāt ignore them āyetā in case something really is there
I shouldāve added that their programming approach was good for several months but itās reverted bad to its old ways within the past few weeks. I do keep the truck clean so I know that stuff on the sensors hasnāt been the issue.
