I can do that on the Tesla as well, you just don't push down the window button past the detent that signals express down/up. Just gently press the button, it goes down as far as you want to go. Push down further until it "clicks" and you get window full-down.
Better yet - grab the Tesla app and touch "Vent" and it will put all 4 windows down a perfect 1/2 inch or so. Touch it again and they all go up.

First time F150 owner here. The rear sliding window is AMAZING. Even with all 4 large windows open you get a lot of turbulent air that feels like someone is slapping you on the left and right side of your head repeatedly. Not to mention wind buffeting and noise.

As soon as you open that rear window the air flows past you like a stream of pillows and the noise is mostly gone. I have never experienced anything like it in a car before.

I call it the Flatulence Purge Mode.

So I’m reviving this old thread. Brand new lariat ER owner. Had a 2021 XLT.
For some reason I really thought my Lariat had 1 touch for the rear windows and found out today it didn’t.

I’m REALLY shocked the platinum doesn’t. I remember when they cancelled the Lincoln truck and said the platinum trim basically replaces it.

I agree with the sentiment here that for the same price, cars typically come way better appointed.

All the money we spend on trucks is wrapped up in “capability”

Hopefully ford takes note of teslas method of manufacturing on the next gen truck. Include hardware/wiring for everything. Up-charge me for things like leather, power and range instead of the old school way of nickel & diming for every little feature like auto-up windows. At the very least let me pay for these features via software unlock…

Just simplify everything. Make 2 levels of interior. For a truck, maybe 3. Base work truck, middle of the road with most amenities, go all the way. Stop stupid things like 18 speaker bad stereos with 4 tweeters embedded in the head rest. Just tune the 8 to 10 speakers well and you don't need the gimmicks. Tesla has its issues, but the others must take note of how the build. Central POWERFUL computers and nothing more than a little wiring, lights, speakers, switches and input devices throughout the rest of the auto.
