I’ve got 250 miles on a 2024 Platinum and am really curious if others are getting the same vibrations up all the passenger seats at low speeds, even on smooth roads.

The truck definitely had flat spots so the dealer replaced them with what I requested, Bridgestone Duellers. Ride is better, but vibration at low speeds are bothersome to me.

I just took a Lariat for a spin and I think it may just be the suspension system Ford designed to handle the battery weight, but I’m afraid I can not live with it if it’s the standard.

would love to hear others thoughts and experiences.

Hi there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concern on my end.

Bridgestone Duellers.
Are they the at or ht?

There have been a few reports of various speed sensitive vibrations. Nobody has really quantified anything yet. Could be several causes. Loose parts asentioned above are of concern.

They’re the AT assents. I really think it’s the truck. The flat spots that were on the all seasons was brutally obvious. The Bridgestone’s took 95% away, but definitely still vibrations into the seats at lower speeds and on smooth roads. I’ve left it with the dealers and asked they go through it all. I really would hate to undo a purchase like this.

Why did you put a more agressive tread on and then expect a smoother ride?

I started with the grabbers on my Lariat, 20inch, and they were the best for on road and a little gravel. Super quiet and smooth. I put on falken wildpeaks and now it's loud and isn't great on the highway. But, the off-road capability is much better.

Vibrations are a difficult topic, what you feel and what the actual vibration numbers are, are 2 different things. There is balancing equipment available that you attach to and then drive the car, nobody seems to have bothered yet though.

I have two other trucks with A/T’s. A 2022 Ford Raptor and a Cybertruck. The vibrations I’m getting in the lightning are not a result of the Duellers. It’s a fair question, but I do not believe it’s the cause.

+1 what TaxmanHog said, it's probably a suspension or tire/wheel issue of some sort.

My (Oct '23 build) Platinum was very smooth on the road with the stock 22” Grabber AS tires.

When I got 18” wheels and installed Grabber ATx tires, there were a very slight vibration but it was still smoother to me than the ‘17 Raptor with BFG KO2s on the road (sans bumps of course). I also test drove a Cybertruck, and seemed to be similar with AT tires (forgot what model).

There is a different type of vibration that you may experience at 47-52mph, is that what you were referring to? The latter is just the nature of EV when you get the electric motors at a certain RPM.
