Im sure this has happened to others but haven't found a thread on it.
I am away camping and plugged in charging on the sites 110v 15amp, getting about 10% a day which is great as we are here for for a few weeks and dont use the truck much.

But twice now the truck has charged to 95%...and Ive used it to pick up a few groceries very close by..
Within a minute or maybe two, the SOC drops to about 88%, range stays relatively the same, (434 km or 270 miles) and then things go normally and I arrive back 15 mins later with around 87%.
No climate controls on. Power available is %100.

This shows the same in the app, and the truck. Kind of worried, will be letting the truck charge to 100% for the tow home, and I will have plenty of charge for that, but why would the percentage change lkke that, and not the range?

Thx for looking.

I have had the same thing happened both directions.

I charge to 90% and before the end of the driveway, it's at 87% with it just being on for a couple of minutes.

I also had it do the reverse this weekend where I was trying to get it to 100% for a trip. I was at 96% and as I pulled out of the driveway, it went to 97% and then within a 1/4 mile, it went to 98%. Grabbed pics of it!

Call your local dealer. They just issued a recall for certain vins for this issue. I just dropped mine off yesterday I believe it is the high voltage battery control module.

This happened with one of the last few updates. Not sure exactly which one, but I know it wasn't the Frunk update.

I charge to 85% before my commute. Before the last round of updates, my 85% would hold for 4 or 5 miles. Now, as soon as I unplug it decreases to 83% and I'm down to 82% before the end of my road.

Just Ford screwing up what wasn't broken to begin with. Just like the original DTE update.

I havent had any updates since I got the truck in June, and have auto updates turned off for now as didnt want any "surprises" while we arenon vacation with it.
It seems to be fine until I try to charge it over 90%...

Will call dealer, ugh....
