In my limited amount of electrical and engine knowledge I would think there is less guess work in electrical and would be more straight forward.
I agree. Maybe they just don't get the same thrill without smelling fuel and grease on their hands.

I get change is hard but I’m wondering if the sales manager knew how the service manager was acting like that. Turns potential customers into people who will never buy there.

Unfortunately dealers are all over the place still with respect to ability, attitude, political opinion, etc.

You have a bad battery module, it's a simple fix, but takes diligent technical work to diagnose, get approved the repair, get the battery module ordered, and make the repair (takes about 4hrs)

Start calling the largest dealers in your area, keep a note pad handy and ask to speak to the service dept manager, if he's not there, any service manager that will talk will do, ask these questions:
How many E-Certified Techs does the dealer have.

How many F150 Lightning Battery Module replacements has the dealer completed to date.

Do they have EV loaners reserved for EV service.

You'll find a good dealer that answers these questions pretty fast. If you don't want to do this social engineering work at all you can just call the BEV team, but you'll have better luck doing it yourself. Still call the BEV team once you've found a good EV dealer, they can help expedite and guide the dealer if needed.

I've had two battery modules replaced to date, and many other visits for programming and recalls. My dealer keeps 3 MachE's and 1 Lightning for loaners for EV owners. I've been in one of these for over 60days total in my 2+yrs of ownership. And my dealer has done over 50 battery module replacements, b/c they are known in the state to be an excellent EV service center. They have 3 EV certified techs.
