Hi! Over the past 3 months, about once or twice a week, while driving, I'll get all of the following error messages:

1.) Service AdvanceTrac

2.) Steering assist fault. Service required.

3.) 1-Pedal drive fault. Press brake pedal to reduce speed.

They all appear at once, don't stay on the screen, and are gone after I turn off and turn back on.

It has happened on straight roads most times, but the two times it happened while turning through an intersection, I lost steering power for a second and had to massively overcorrect on the turn.

The dealer changed out the 12V battery, but can't figure it out, and of course can't recreate the issue on their own.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

It's most likely a problem with the steering rack. The advancetrac and 1pd faults are triggered after the fact.

Your dealer needs to look at the online fault repository for more faults and detail.

Did this Special Service Message process occur during the service?

SSM 52719 2021-2023 F-150 And 2024 F-150 Lightning - Modules On HS-CAN2, HS-CAN3, HS-CAN4, MS-CAN Do Not Respond To FDRS - No DTCs In The Affected Modules
Some 2021-2023 F-150 vehicles and 2024 F-150 Lightning vehicles may exhibit modules on the high-speed controller area network 2 (HS-CAN2), high-speed controller area network 3 (HS-CAN3), high-speed controller area network 4 (HS-CAN4) and/or the medium-speed controller area networks (MS-CAN) not responding to the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) and the modules on these networks fail the network test without any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) tied to the affected modules. The modules on the flexible data rate controller area network 2 (FD-CAN1) and the high-speed controller area network 1 (HS-CAN1) will communicate with the FDRS. Vehicles equipped with a power opening/closing tailgate may also exhibit an intermittent inoperative power tailgate. This may be due to the gateway module A (GWM) not being configured properly. To correct this condition, download and run the GWM - Gateway Module A (GWM) Configuration application using the latest version of the FDRS. For claiming, use causal part number 14G490 and applicable labor times from Section 10 of the Service Labor Times Standard (SLTS) Manual.

I agree that the fault probably starts with the steering rack module or is a communication fault with the rack.

The fact that they replaced the battery suggests there were low voltage codes. Maybe a ground circuit issue?

Good luck on this, if the condition persists you will need a rockstar diagnostician to solve an intermittent that is that rare.

Following up on this...

After getting the truck back with a new 12v battery, the problem persisted. Anecdotally, it seemed like it would happen when I was coasting on one-pedal driving while I hit a bump or did any sudden motion.

Two days ago, the message "front camera unavailable" kept chiming every ten seconds while driving. I noticed the chime alert sounded different than usual (more electronic and less fancy sounding).

Here's the big one though. Yesterday, while leaving work, I lost power steering and nearly hit a building. I had about 10 error messages, including my favorite "Stop safely now."

The dealer said the brand new battery was completely depleted. I'm waiting to hear back what else they find, because I find it hard to believe it's just the 12v.

The DC/DC {400v-->13/14v} inverter might be malfunctioning
