Time from order to ship (to dealer) to pick up?

Been on this forum for a year, reading daily since late in the summer. I reserved on 5/20, ordered on 11/15/22, yet to recieve a production date.

It seems to me that generally speaking I can expect about 4 weeks from order date to production scheduling, and then 2 months from scheduleing to delivery to dealer and pickup.

I realize that evceryone's experience is different depending a model picked, time ordered, component shortages, etc. but is that a good general estimate?

Well, back up there... What day did you actually place your order? Your post says 5/15, so if that was the case, then something is very wrong here. But let's just get the dates figured out... When did you place the order and when was it accepted/confirmed?

For me, I was invited in Wave 2 of the '23 orders. Placed my order and confirmed end of august. Was given a build week of 11/7. Got the production notice on 11/9. Went into "chip hold" on 11/12... Nothing, no updates, ship notification about December 12. Arrived at the dealership on December 21st. I couldn't make it (out of state dealership) until end of following week and picked it up on December 30...

I too, was confused by the dates you mentioned (5/20 reservation and 5/15 order). But, at any rate....invited to order and placed order on 11/15. Received build week notification two weeks later for build week 12/12. Blend date 12/15, built notice received 12/24. Shipped on 12/28. Currently en route to California. Estimated delivery from Ford is 1/15 -1/21. Dealer has said truck should arrive in state today or tomorrow. Not sure where it comes in via rail but then needs to be loaded on to convoy to dealership. Dealer has said they expect it on 1/20. Hope that this helps you out.

Ordered on 9/7, built status as of 12/14 and delivered to the dealer a week and a half later.

You should look for a VIN email from Ford soon.

Then you can track it on Ford's tracker along with the window sticker available about a week before production date.

Mine was an early '22 and it took 6 weeks from production to delivery (MI to CA).

I've been watching that but a special thx for the direct link to the spreadsheet. Timelines are all over the place from a customer POV (imo). I'm an 11/15 Lariat order and haven't been scheduled yet either, coming up on 2 months. I know others who ordered that day and already have their truck (I'm assuming they had some extra help?). My down deposit gets a little bigger each week that goes by at least.

Mine too! I am saving up for the deposit since I am buying a lot more truck than I had planned and have no idea what the deposit is going to be. I am guessing 10% but not sure what the fees are on top of that.

Got my order date today! to be built the week of February 6th. so reserve on 5/20/21 (early), invite to order on 12/14/21, and production scheduled on 1/10/23 for build week of 2/6/23.

Are you planning to finance it? I am saving up for the down payment and plan to finance with Ford (like my last two vehicles) or my credit union. I am thinking they will require 10% down so close to $8K. I got the same email as you this morning but it did not mention the production start date, just the build date of Feb 6th. I wonder how long till delivery? So exciting!!!
