My LineX quote says $599, +200 if I want the Premium with UV protection, and +$350 for colors other than black which include the UV protection.
15 years with the original linex formula - no problems. This is Merica, land of marketing. Add $15 of chemical add $200 in billing, pee on your leg and tell you it’s raining.

Being new to trucks, I just can't get my head around sanding down brand new paint! I think i will do either a mat or a Duraliner. Anyone here have thoughts on the Duraliner? Is it just marketing?

So cutting the holes is not an option for me. Hope they will make the one fits Lightnings.
The cuts I made for the lights were a bit tricky to make them look natural... The photos on their website are actually very crude cuts. You can tell they didn't remove the lights or the button, but simply made an opening.

I made mine completely clean by removing the lights and the button, then pushing them back, which was actually the hardest part because they kept popping out. The solution was to trim a lot of the padding, but as I said, I was trying to make it clean, and from this photo, you can see the button here is behind the BedRug instead of cleanly on the surface.

This is how mine looked, taken from a video somebody else made where he removed them like I did, then pushed the lights and button back.

Here's the video showing how somebody installed his... and he did what I did to make everything look neat.

As I said, I think I'll just get the BedRug mat this time. It's soft on the knees, keeps things from moving around, and I don't really need side protection. After all, the bed never rusts anyway.

Here's what the mat version looks like. It's about half the price... It looks great, keeps things from sliding around, the padding is great on your knees and eliminates vibration.

+1
I've always thought the time for Line-X is after you mess up the pretty paint on the bed. It's good stuff, no doubt, and it makes a used truck look better. But, I don't want to turn a new $80k truck over to the sandpaper team.
