I'm in rural Pennsylvania and the dealer I chose had zero allocations last year and isn't sure if they will get any this year. I was wondering if everyone thinks it's too late to switch to a ZEV state? Maryland is close by and wouldn't be much of a hassle.

Find a dealer then call the 1800 number asap. FYI my dealer got 5 total in 22MY and they got 10 to start 23MY (not including hold overs).

Agreed. My dealer last year had 9 orders convert prior to wave 7, then had 7 in wave 7. I switched to a NJ dealer for this reason.
Make the switch as soon as you can

I read a thread on reddit earlier today where someone extended their reservation and was just invited to order. Now their dealer is placing an ADM on the order and they contacted Ford to switch. Ford is claiming the first dealer has to release the order to whoever so there's nothing they can do.

Before this reservation extension situation it was learned that after you submit your order online the order becomes your dealership's. They buy the truck from Ford and then sell it to us. So now we have an additional wrinkle where apparently extending your reservation locks it to the dealership you originally charged.
