I took off the factory spray bed liner before getting schedule based on the recommendation of my dealer (will do it locally once we get the truck). Also Wave 4 Lariat ER ordered 2/17/22, build week of 6/6/22
Makes me wonder if I should maybe remove the spray in bed liner? Any indication that it caused any sort of delay?

Seems like varying opinions and conflicting data on if it really matters. I was on the fence between factory and after market so I thought it would improve my chances by removing it and going local.

Not wave 4, but wave 3 Lariat ER with spray in bed liner and max tow package, I'm scheduled for 5/16 build date. Haven't seen any indication spray in bed liner is causing any delays.
It won't cause a delay in your truck being built, it would only cause a delay in your vehicle being shipped. And it was delayed by almost a month because of the bedliner before it shipped.

My destination is still at $1695. Does anyone know what is driving the change for some people?

I meant to say my 21 F150 was delayed almost a month because of bedliner.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are prioritizing Lightnings to get the spray in bed liner quicker.

I doubt it. Ford doesn't do the spray in bedliners. They are done off-site by a private company.

my dealer contacted Ford and they indicated the liner is only delaying raptors, not lightnings

And other dealers have contacted people recommending to remove it due to delaying F150s in general. Bottom line is we don’t really know for a fact if it could delay our trucks or not.

I kept it off just in case and will get a lifetime warranty Line-X right when it comes in and pay the same price.

Just checked my 5/30 week Pro and it’s updated to the $1,795 unfortunately. Not that $100 is a big deal lol.
It’s not a big deal but didn’t they reduce the max tow package by like $60 to get the Lariat ER+Max Tow under $80k MSRP for the potential extra tax credit? Adding a $100 to the destination torpedoes the tax credit again (even though it’s unlikely to pass).

I don’t think it was ever stated why the price was lowered on that. Just speculation by some here. Still seems kinda odd.

This is news to me. If the truck is over 80k msrp we wouldnt qualify for the Federal Tax credit?! Im at 80,022 lol. After the 600 deposit im at 79,424, would that make a difference?

With respect to the FEDERAL IRS TAX CREDIT, that MSRP value has no impact at this time, BBB is DEAD, and is not expected anytime soon.

If your state has an EV credit, there may be value limitations, but I'm not familiar with anything other than my home state of Mass.

I wish there was a bot that would strike posts about the BBB - it is dead for now. There is no bill with changes or information about any other credit or rebate other than the one that has been in play for several years. The current credit has no limit of vehicle purchase price.
