Which Floor Mats?

Havent't received my platinum yet but i am planning on getting the weathertech ones. They are asking tho if the floor is carpeted or vinyl. It's got to be carpeted on the platinum right? with Ford removing features after features, just want to make sure I get the right ones. Anybody can chime in on that?

Platinum is definitely carpeted.

I thought it was reported several months ago that the studs would come out from the top. Someone put a couple of nuts on them, tightened them against each other and then unscrewed them from the top.

If you can find that post I'd love to see it. I watched them install the bolts on my truck. They hold a piece of insulation against the bottom of the cab between the cab and battery and were driven in from the bottom before the cab was mated to the frame. Other people have said the bolts are too long to be backed out because of the limited distance between the cab and battery.

Edit: OK, after reviewing my pictures, there may be another mounting point in front of the insulation and the bolts I'm remembering may not be the ones holding the lockable storage down. Here is a screenshot of the image.

The ICE guy, Tremor guys, all have problems with it. Another thread here is the one I found that talks about two nuts on them to back them out, but as you note - it's not possible.
