When I coast down a local bridge, and see the truck go from 55 to 61, then back to 55 over the course of 1/2 to 3/4 mile, I can't imagine any other scenario that uses less energy over that distance. In fact, there is no possible way to use less energy, because no energy is used! You would have to add energy over that stretch to do any better. You can't possibly add energy while traveling 1/2 to 3/4 mile at 55+ mph.

The truck absolutely flies in neutral. One day soon I will do a coasting test next to an ICE F150 and post the results.

Yeah, after getting used to 1 PD, I got in my ICE vehicle and was surprised when it moved forward upon shifting it into gear. And then I had to remember to hit the breaks to make it stop.
This is a great post, except for spelling... ;)

Seriously, you can find multiple posts on social media by people who drive in 1 pedal, then go to the gas vehicle and have an accident, then blame it on the vehicle...

Of course there are many that have accidents using 1 pedal, running into the vehicle in front and blaming 1 pedal, "because I shouldn't have to use the brake pedal"...

Fixed the spelling. I know it's "brake" and not "break." I usually catch it myself before posting. That's why I have my wife proofread my writing before publishing a newsletter.
