Yellow wrench of doom has appeared.

I've had my "24 Flash for less than 2 months now. So far... my favorite vehicle I have owned. On Friday, the yellow wrench symbol appeared on my dash followed by a message that read," powertrain malfunction/reduced power- A powertrain or 4-wheel drive fault has been detected." I tried to make an appointment at my local dealer but can't get it in until next week. Today, I started it up and the wrench symbol and messages were gone. My question is: do the warnings, cautions and symbols go away after cycling the ignition on and off so many times? BTW the truck runs great, nothing appears to be wrong with it.

The code will be stored. But obviously, they failure that set. The code has not occurred in several ignitions cycles. A little reprogramming may solve everything. Good luck I’ve been through this.

That reminds me, I have to maintain my brakes! Someone suggested this monthly.

Put it in N and stop with the brakes. Scrapes all the potato bugs off the rotors that I never use.
