Well on the wiper motor issue specifically they had to do a visual inspection to see if the part number was in the list of suspect motors. If it wasn't then you're done and no action required.The Ford dealer where I went for the light bar and wiper motor recalls said I didn’t need the wiper motor service even though I had the Ford recall letter, and that the CSP items were not to be done since the truck had no symptoms of problems.
Is that how the CSP things work? Seems as if others on this forum
are getting them attended to.
And if you're referring to the CSP 23B57 on "items were not to be done", I read it differently. Note the highlighted section of the attached.
You're not the first forum member to state that their service advisor said that the software was not to be updated if there were no symptoms. So not sure where that's coming from.
