The only ETA I got was on an email that Ford sent me (ETA of this week but I’m sure that that is not accurate). Is there a way to check the updated status of the ETA? When I go to the dashboard all it says is that it’s still in production

I just called Ford Marketing (800-334-4375) because that seems to be a quick way to talk to someone about status. The lady I spoke with said she had no ETA for me. In fact, I think she said she still saw me as "In Production," not even "Built" yet (which doesn't match my online status or what chat has told me). But she said that what she has been seeing lately is that it has been taking 1-2 months from In Production date until delivery. Yowzers! She was super friendly, but I didn't like anything she told me. (n)

Here's a snapshot of how that "1-2 months" has played out recently for folks on the spreadsheet:

@Ian and I both hit Built status a day apart and have trucks ready to be picked up by a convoy to head to Maryland (our dealers are about 40 minute drive from each other). I wonder if his ETA slipped out, too?
I am from 8/29 build week lariat er. Ordered 2/18, Production 9/6, built 9/15, shipped 10/3 to 10/9. Another order at my dealer Pro, ordered 5/8, production 7/18, built 8/29 shipped. Their delivery window has moved. It was 9/23 to 9/29 and now it is 9/29 to 10/6. Maybe they rode the same train? My production to built was short, theirs is quite long.

Not to rub salt in, but I got my assembly picture today...
Tinting / putting film on that front LED-bar will be one of my first (of very few) mods
Haha - I'm happy for you! I hope that delivery from Michigan to Michigan goes quickly :)

Among those who have taken delivery and are reported in the spreadsheet, it appears Ford largely succeeds at beating the end of the ETA window (0 on the chart below). So that's good news for everyone...although, they obviously readjust ETAs to make that happen...so maybe that's not as exciting as I first thought...

Whoever got their truck a full month ahead of their ETA back in August must have been quite pleased!

Hmmm. Given they give you a window for delivery and our spreadsheets are only tracking the end of that window, the majority being earlier makes sense. Looking at that data, it seems they have been hitting more towards the beginning vs. the end of the window.

2 other observations though

1) The average has been trending closer to 0, so either logistics are slowing down, or they are taking some conservatism out of their estimates.

2) That is a lot of variability, so don't expect yours to come in on the average.

Called Ford Marketing, they sent me to a different number of 800-392-3673 (Ford Customer Relationship Center) They confirmed my vehicle went to shipped on 19th of Sep by Rail. It's last location was New Boston, NH on 22nd of September, no updates since then.

I did get the your vehicle just came off assembly line email like others today so that's amusing...

@Ian Here's how to get your current delivery ETA:
On a computer (not phone or tablet) sign in to your Ford.com account, go to My Account >> Reservations & Orders, and then click View

Wait, your truck is going by rail to Maryland? and it's currently in New Hampshire?!

That's what they claimed, last update was from Sep 22 when it was there by rail. The guy was like could be going by truck from there or switching to another rail.

Seems like an unconventional route given everyone I've spoken to or chatted with has indicated all Maryland deliveries are by convoy. But who knows 🤷‍♂️

At least you're on the move!
