Yeah I am by no means saying it is directly related to the mod. The DRL function is full bright pre-mod I believe anyway, we are just keeping it that way with the parking lights / head lights. I just wanted @abd79 know he is not an isolated incident.

The consistency of the flash leads me to believe it is a led board or supply voltage (module) glitch. Wiring usually produces a more random pattern. It maybe only be in the projector LED assemblies. I will take a wild stab and say that is probably what @abd79 has as well.
LED projectors for me yes. Canadian truck as well with the anti-glare headlights vs just auto high beams like US trucks I believe. Maybe itā€™s a weird combination of features on certain trucks. For me it was at night, sitting in the seat didnā€™t matter what mode the switch was in either on or auto didnā€™t matter. Like I mentioned before standing outside I could watch it for 20 minutes and it wouldnā€™t flicker once. I get in the truck and sit in the drivers seat close the door and it starts flickering. Not sure if your trucks also turn on the fogs when cornering but mine does, again could be software glitch or two systems fighting for control of the brightness, without the mod LEDs are rock solid

Truck is a Lariat with pretty much every option you could order including blue cruise hardware Prep.

Got it! But not related to this mod; I would highly suggest for the both of you to probably get the dealership check it out for you under warranty, maybe they can get under there and see if thereā€™s anything causing it? I mean itā€™s better to check it out tbh than ignore, even a wire issue can cause the truck to go in flames or anything, you know? Better safe than sorry! @abd79 @ROBB1

My Tremor 402A has all the the same options and functions as yours including blue cruise. Actually the high Termor and high Lariat are pretty much the same from a module perspective.

Interestingly I have enabled glare free high beams via forscan so we are the same there as well. However that feature is controlled outside of the BCM, so I canā€˜t see any possible relationship there.

Iā€™m starting to question my memory on wether my headlights were on or not when mine was glitching. It was basically dusk and I pulled into a shopping center right after to watch it in one of the shop windows. The headlight were on by that point for sure and I could not get it to start flashing.

I troubleshoot things for a living so Iā€™m kicking myself for not making better mental notes. I just figured I would look into it later.

It seems like you can get yours to repeat. Does it appear it is bouncing between bright and dimmed? not actually going completely out? My recollection was that mine was flickering between bright and dim.

I need to go out and spend some time with mine and see if I can pin down what causes the flicker.

Definitely will keep an eye on what you find! Iā€™ve been checking every day and night on my free time to see if I even get any, so far not a single flicker.

With the limited data we have it seems to be specific to the projector headlight setup. It may or may not be related to the mod, no enough info at this point (at least for me). If it is mod induced Iā€™m sure itā€™s probably logic in the BCM related and it can probably be overcome.

There are quite a few differences in both Hardware and as-built settings between the projector and quad led lamps.

All that to say you might never see it on your setup.

I will do some digging and report back if I come up with something.

Sounds good! I will be doing a little digging as well along with double checking my other friendā€™s ā€˜21s to see if theirs is the same, as we all did the same mod. Iā€™m inclined to think itā€™s either software wise or faulty wiring.

Iā€™ve seen a few issues in Facebook groups that people are having issues with either the LED projector headlight or the fogs that needed to be replaced under warranty, seemed to have fixed the issue but not sure if thatā€™s related to the issues you guys are having, who knows!

Will also update this if I hear or see anything new. (y)

By taking a look at the wiring diagram, I think I can safely say its not logic or software related in the BCM. The fog light DRL and Headlight DRL are tied to the same output from the BCM. If the BCM software or output was the cause both DRLs (fog and headlight) on that side should be flicking at the same time. This also means the Mod is not the direct cause of the issue. It might be aggravating it though. LEDs are notoriously sensitive to voltage / current fluctuations. Increasing the output may be enough to highlight a poor ground, power wire issue down stream of the splice or issue on the board itself. It might still work fine at a lower output.

Very true, thank you for this! I have put aside the two trucks on here that have this issue, I can't see to replicate that issue with our trucks here, very strange. Let's see if that same issue replicates again, maybe can figure it out before taking it to the dealer's side, seeing they will likely charge the diagnostic fee despite the warranty or not; this is if that issue doesn't replicate in front of them, but definitely video proof can help avoid this fee if need be.

I have the same Truck as you. I did this mod a few weeks ago. Had no issues like to describe. The only issue I had is DTC Code show up in Headlamp Control Module(did write it down). Not sure if it was related or not. I reverted back to the factory setting. I might give it a try this weekend and monitor it. IF you turn on your fog lights on the cornering feature will not be active.

Sounds good! Yeah I know the cornering feature doesnā€™t work if itā€™s on switch #2 on the exterior lighting control knob. Only works when itā€™s in low beam (#3) apparently, trying to see if there is a way to enable the cornering mode on switch #2 with just the LED bars on.

Okay, I'll be the first to say it, that is so weird! Ever since I changed it on mine, mine hasn't been doing any flickering.. I just did the same thing as you did when someone is sitting in the truck, zero flickering! Went to find a reflection, no flickering either.. ?

-To anyone else on this thread, has this happened to you guys yet? @Hectort713, how about you?
No, i have not experienced any flickering on any of the led lights or fog lights

I just redid the mod. Now the passenger fog light stays on even if the fog lights are set to off. I have also removed bambi mode and undid this change for Full LED and still have the issue. Any Ideas?.

Did you make any backups on Forscan prior to making the change? Iā€™d yes, try to restore your Forscan factory as-built backup and see if the issue still persists. If you didnā€™t make any backups.. I would get in touch with @Livnitup, he may be able to help you find your factory as-built codes.

Yes I did a back up. I have restored everything and I still have the same issue. I have also reset the BCM module.

My original setting was 0303-0101-07

Well I played with all the light switch tried different coordination. The passenger fog light finally turned off and everything is now working as normal. I have reapplied Full Led no issues. Must be a glitch somewhere.
