Yep it did. It should work fine on any vehicle for factory CarPlay.

Did you have any trouble having this connect?
For me after connecting and accepting the device, Carplay shows connected but then disconnects. If you wait about 20 seconds it connects and then disconnects again.
Any suggestions?

Can you take a video of you plugging in the device so I can see what is happening?

Here is video when it is connected. I'll remove the item from system then reinstall and record that setup again.

Ok, I had this happen once also. It a pain, but try these steps. Go under phones are remove all the one listed. Power cycle the vehicle. Try plugging in the Box again.

If that doesn't work (and what I needed to do) is do a master reset of Sync. You'll have to set everything back up, but my box works now.

Well I just ordered one of these MMB Android CarPlay AI Boxs. One of the marketing photos on their site show a 2021 F150. Should be good to go. It's a bit spendy, but I like trying out new tech. I wish ford would give us access to the full 12in not just the standard 8in section for CarPlay and Android Auto.

Curious if you think this would work with an iPhone 12? Seems to be the same company, and it suggests that it doesn't matter if you have an iPhone or Android.

Appreciate any feedback as I am technologically challenged. Haha

Not sure if this helps anyone, but I reached out to their customer support and they said the new version (link provided below) does work with iPhones. Also found a video of someone using their iPhone to use it.

What i your revision for Sync 4?

Just and update from my experience. I ended up having to get the supplier to send me an update a couple times but now finally working.
Have you by chance found any way to get the full screen to display instead of 2/3rds?

What box did you get? With my updated sync version to 21281 I lost my ability to use my box. It's an Apple Pie mini 1.0 (UX999).

I purchased the same one you had advised earlier the link.
