If you wanted the pro the XLT is hard to swallow for an additional $12000 for like... Not much IMO. Running boards and cloth seats I suppose.

I agree, but if it takes me a full year from now to get a Pro and I can't get any (or very little) of the tax credits then that is actually more like $5k more

A full year from now you’ll still get half the tax credit.

Yeah, this forum is an echo chamber and I think reflects far higher pro demand than the general public. Will there be cancelled or postponed orders once the pro is sold out - yes. Will it matter to Ford. No.

Most of the Pro orders were probably allocated to Fleet orders to begin with. It has already been demonstrated that Ford initially severely underestimated demand for the Lighting, Pro included.

Makes sense. Ford learned from Tesla, now they can say they sold a $40k truck. Even if they only made 200 of them, it's technically not false advertising. The losses they incurred from those trucks is worth the substantial amount of undeserved press delivering at $40k will get them.

...but looking at the pictures, the A in "Availability" is capitalized. The "sold out" is all lower case. This means that either Ford is bad at consistent web design or it's a fake.
