Just curious, why did you go with the auto start eliminator vs the $50 forscan? I can see the eliminator would be much easier, and I’m all for that, but for less money, you could do all the other things with the forscan.

1. Not sure if you can access Forscan in 21 models 2. The eliminator is less likely to impact the warranty.

roughly: $10/20/30/50 for the software and $50 for the ODB2 reader = up to $100

Some might be more mechanically inclined vs. software inclined?
Playing with the brains/software config can be a daunting experience.

I always get a little nervous taking interior panels off. Don't have good luck there!

Might have to pick one of these up myself. Glad they got one developed for the 21’ F-150 so quickly.

Yep, I need this. Auto Stop drives me crazy. Ford should have allowed the user to default the setting as they need from the settings screen.

Just ordered one for me. I figure that if I see it causes problems I can easily take it out vs taking it somewhere to get flashed. Truck won't even be in until late Feb so it will be one of the first things I do to it.

I guess the money saving option would be to press that button every time you drove the truck?
A habit I quickly developed when I was renting these trucks for months at a time.
Start engine--push button--buckle up

What button??
The dealer had turned mine off but then it came back.
I actually don't mind it now, hardly even notice it..
