first deliveries in the "Spring" at least to fleet customer orders
Spring goes from March 20 - June 21, I would assume most consumer April builds would be out before Spring is officially over.

Hahah...I had my dealer add the deployable running boards, so I'm hoping that they don't delay it too much from scheduling. IIRC, it was only like a $250 option for them.
I've always preferred to have the regular running boards. They are a good defense against car doors in parking lots.

Since the regular F-150 line has been down off and on for a few weeks I'm wondering if they aren't finding ways to build more Lightnings. Pull more in, add more toward the end. We've seen very little scheduling since the first week or two. I'm sure they are learning a lot about how this line is running.

NICE!

I’m still waiting for a build date for my 1/20 order... I hope that moving some up means mine won’t be too late. I‘m kinda hoping for Spring.

That’s one of my favorite things about my F-150. It protects you from car doors and does a good job on shopping carts.

Same for me, in a 1/6 order date and I have nothing either.

How does that work? Nowhere near where an opening door would impact. I updated my order to add both the deploying running boards and the OEM Retrax XR tonneau cover.

Not sure if it matters to you, but you'll be waiting a while for delivery if you optioned the deployable running boards. Unless things changed and you know something I don't, vehicles with that option aren't getting scheduled because of parts shortages.

No, but ask @JoeDimwit since he works at the Lightning plant.

Sort of intentional/strategic in my case. I'm in Wave 2, am worried the truck will come in June or early July when we're motorcycling in Europe, would rather not have it sit at the dealer, although they say it would be okay. My salesperson runs the dealer's truck fleet purchase program, so was able to back-check through Ford and tell me that July delivery is likely with these changes. We've had the deployable running boards on our Ford trucks since 2010, find them a huge benefit for my 5'2" wife, also have work trucks with the fixed running boards and see them as simply a way to get pants dirty.

Who are you touring with?
Me and two buddies went with Edelweiss last july/August, self guided tour of the Dolomites and side trip the Passo Stelvio, awesome trip on a Ducati Multistrada!

The running boards are usually level with the center of a regular sized car door or the bottom of most suv's doors. If someone parks next to you and opens their door, it'll hit the running boards rather than your door. Only exception would be a truck or suv thats the same height as the F150.

Same date still here. Wonder if you just got lucky and they had a couple open slots for 4/25 week.
There were no trucks scheduled for 4/25 up until this point, I believe. Only 4/11, 4/18 and 5/2. It might have been a production buffer week in the event they had some kind of issues and now they feel comfortable enough with how things have gone the first week that they opened that week up. *If* that is what happened then I suspect most people will see their dates moved up a week as time passes and they, knock on wood, don't have any issues in the production.
