I thought I was all up to date and good for a while and decided just out of curiosity to run my VIN.
An unexpected GWM update sitting there all alone.

Turns out it's 14 files via USB technique.
Don't know what it's for, but why not? :)

glad you can get past that. Mine goes to 7 and 50% and then says restart needed and i do that and nothing else happens

Did you configure your Nano to operate at fixed baud rate? If so, what is it set at?
No change in baud rate. This was for the IPC update from a few weeks ago. If there is a new one for Bluecruise, that is not the one that I was able to fix.

I hate hearing that nicholsbradley.
My truck originally, back in January was cantankerous like that at times. But it finally developed a rhythm and now it just sucks up the updates like a good puppy.

As soon as those 14 files copied, I got the restart truck command. A couple of minutes later:
Ford F-150 Lightning ECU module programming guide using FDRS 20220320_194341


Then the file validation in FDRS and configuration of module. Smoothly.

But then a fresh rescan and an APIM update pops up!
I swear this truck gets more updates than my Windows or Android devices do.

does yours show all 14 files transferred before it ask for restart? Mine goes to 7 our 50% the disipers and says restart needed.

But that's fixing to change since FDRS is loading APIM files on the USB stick as I type.

By the way, I live deep in the woods for the last 15 years. No internet service available. I am AT&T cellular only. My whole world runs off of cellular Hotspot and my Powerboost. Lol

Fortunately the tower around here has been pretty good for the last 4 years, and getting better all the time.

I believe you are correct that it was 0/14, then 7/14, then finished.

The progress bar I have noticed on a few updates isn't very elegant or fluid.

Your last screenshot leads me to believe you may have bad RAM, some sort of corruption on your storage drive, or a virus.

1. If you are running Windows 10, open "virus & threat protection", click Scan options, then select Microsoft Defender Offline scan.

2. If you want to test your RAM, try Memtest86+. Download to a USB, then boot to the USB and run a few tests on your RAM.

3. You may also try a checkdisk on your drive by running "chkdsk C: /R /F" from command prompt
That also could be the case. Microsoft defender has been tripping lately too but never in relation to FDRS. Would a factory reset and clean install of windows help?

Yes. But I promise it wasn't always like that.
Like I said, early on it was fussy like others have reported. I've been in the restart loop before. For whatever reason, the updates finally started to go close to expectations until the nano roadblock with the CCM.

Mongoose cured that and a few dtc's that were stubborn.

There's still time for my smooth run to get bumpy. Afterall, this update I'm doing as I type is APIM. Those can be CrAzY

Any USB updates that have gone always get to the half the files and then 50% mark and it says its good to go for a reboot.

I guess I wouldn't treat the status bar as accurate...
