I called Opus and they said don’t do it. If you want a multi-brand, you need to use the CarDAQ 3.

Thanks! Oddly enough, the cameras at speed and hitch cam became active at some point between yesterday and when I went to make the ForScan updates today.

I wonder if there's a batch job on Ford's systems where they compare module versions each night, update the "As-Built" configuration, and send it down to the trucks since I've definitely had some things change.

I did the auto-deploy running boards fix with Forscan, and they work better than before with fewer "launch - retract - launch" incidents when I park somewhere, get out, and lock the truck.

I'll echo the comment I saw somewhere that I now have the truck I wanted and paid for, and no longer the V1.0 that was delivered back in July. It wasn't easy, but I would say the process was worthwhile.

I had that problem myself in that cameras would not work in motion until the next day. I attribituted it to not getting the APIM to reset the night before but maybe there is something more going on behind the scenes that take a few hours to work through.

I agree the process was not exactly cheap or easy but absolutely worth it. No doubt we would have been waiting for Ford for at least another 6 months before they would have gotten this many updates caught up.... if ever.

Anyone happen to know where to get a mongoose in Canada or has one in southern Ontario they'd like to rent? With it gone from Amazon, ordering it directly is north of $800 maple bucks after tax & tip. Just returned my nano without using it too.

I get that check surroundings message, seems weird Ford would put that right in the middle of the image instead of at the bottom or top but I am just glad to get features working after a year of promises

Yes that is part of the ability of rear cam in motion.

So get this I just left the dealership for a alignment and they asked me if I wanted to get the BC install done. They are referring to it as a recall. It’s now in dealerships system to do. At least at mine it was.
