Pro's being delivered first?!

Ya my Pro order is 5/30 as well. That why his comment threw me off especially with following all the stats on here. So he either spike out his whole, misspoke, or is referring to manequins being shipped out in next couple days or fleet.

So which pickup is going all electric next that he hinted about? Maverick or Ranger? They can probably just throw they same battery pack on the Maverick as Mach E and call it a day.

Wild stab in the dark ..... Hydrogen FCEV.... in a Super duty but after seeing a video about the Toyota FCEV this morning, the fueling infrastructure for them is not ready yet nationwide .

Only in California where hydrogen stations exist.

I was actually looking at the Hyundai and Toyota FCEV as they both offer free hydrogen for 3 years.

Farley could really be mentioning the forthcoming FORD EXPLORER EV, not another 'truck' truck... and, as much as I'd like, I don't think the Maverick is in line to bring to an all-ev platform quite yet, at least not at it's $20k price point.

Farley just said customer deliveries starting in a couple days, starting with Pro series being deliver first. HOW?

Havent all the first build weeks been Lariats and Platinums? Pro's aren't supposed to start being produced til mid May. Maybe he was just making crap up idk.

I think many of the mannequin trucks are pro trucks. Those gotta get to dealerships. The dealership nearest me has a pro coming as their mannequin truck. Just a thought.

That would be really interesting if so. I would think they would send mostly lariat for test drives to try to upsale people on the nicer seats and blue cruise, phone as a key.
Maybe some of us can grab a pro demo that doesn't have bonkers mark-up cause no one will actually want it.

The factory was filled with MOSTLY Lariats. They intentionally drove most buyers to that price point by adding a bunch of value for just a little more than the price of the 312A XLT (What I ordered).

I’m happy with my choice mainly because I still want the 12” screen, physical buttons for HVAC, etc, and cloth seats.

That said, the thing I will miss is the sliding rear window. When you open the windows at high speed, that little window keeps the noise down and prevents your ears from popping.

I just watched Miss Go Electric's video of her day at the launch. Her perception of the reason for focus on Pro models was to differentiate Ford from other electric vehicle manufacturers Ford is shipping the most affordable EV truck's right away instead of only delivering flagship models first.

I don't interpret Farley's comment that Ford is "only" delivering Pro models first. Just that Pro models will be delivered up front alongside other trim levels.

I believe Ok to Buy is for the entire Lightning line and there is not any breakdown at the trim level.

It has not been achieved for any trims from what I can tell. I have zero inside info, but I'd bet that tomorrow is going to be the big day.
