F150 Lightning media drives start May 3rd. Media embargo lifts May 10th. Update: Actually 6am ET May 11th

I've got to figure this means no one is getting their delivery until at least May 10th, right? Why have a media embargo if you knew customers were going to have them sooner. Even those already gone through production may have some time to wait....

Some Mach-E GTs slipped through to customers before the media drives happened. This is a different situation (new model vs. new trim), but it could happen.

Really hope they let the media keep the truck long enough to do range tests.

I'm guessing not. Sounds like they are having a media event were they likely get a couple of hours w/ the car. Doubt they are going to loan the car to multiple people in that weeks time that would allow enough time to do a range test.

Ford has been active w/ the InsideEV (Tom) guys, so maybe they'll make an exception. But, range is a sensitive topic, so I doubt they want it out in the first impression reviews.

Probably at the rouge plant. They'll probably only let media drive around the track they have there for now.

The people who were invited to the San Antonio event were able to drive the trucks. The same media embargo rules apply to us, so expect some updates to pop up from non-press members here on Wednesday too.
