✅ 5/23 Lightning Build Week Group

A little too black and white for me. There was no guarantee that a Wave 1 was to be built before a Wave 4, just like there is no guarantee a built in week 1 will be delivered before a week 4 build. I am not getting my hopes up but I view it as long as ours gets built before deliveries, there is hope.

There are no guarantees, but if our week goes smoothly that will be an anomaly. Looking at what has transpired so far, my confidence in a timely delivery has fallen below 50%.

I truly think we are the magical week. We've seen how this has progressed, we are the perfect week to roll out of the factory and onto a train or truck. If they've started loading a few those earlier builds they are going to get hit with the FILO issues - their truck gets buried in a yard and Ford doesn't know how to load a yard side to side, they load it front to back and then can't get to them.

However - I believe I'll be driving my Lightning by June 17 !! We could be the first deliveries or within the first few hundred.

This is a possibility. I'm hoping it happens, just not expecting it.

Truly could be. What if feedback like Kyle gave from Out of Spec led to a software update on one pedal driving? Ours roll off the line with that update but every other built truck needs to get that update before it can leave. There is hope.

So here is some food for thought that will take our mind off of what is going on with shipping, BUT if your blend date is early next week, there is a chance the body of our trucks are already being built and painted today.

Someone might know better, but I venture to guess that the body needs some amount of time at least after paint before it is "blended". I could be wrong, maybe 4 hours on that line, paint and straight to blend, but bodies for Monday and maybe Tuesday should be taking shape.

I am happy that the dealer selling prices posted on the website, matches the MSRP sticker which solidifies their commitment to NO ADM for now... Not sure for MY2023 and beyond...

Hoping it comes back soon. It is our week. Seems a little bit surreal. I just hope our trucks don't sit for weeks. Hope Ford will either move the trucks or come clean on what the hold up is this week.

I'm not surprised at the lack of explanation. They would probably only provide an explanation if their stock price tanked due to an adverse news story about the lack of shipments going on with the Lightnings.

We don't know what day the B-Roll video was shot with the rail cars and transport trucks being loaded. Maybe they had that film in the can for quite a while. You would think with Farley's tweet of those videos transportation would be imminent. Maybe he jumped the gun too.

I think the Lightning delay is probably software related. Not missing chips but something with the software that was discovered at the last minute. E.G. Two journalists in SATX noted issues with Blue Cruise that seemed to have it underperforming (perhaps not safely enough to release to the public?). Somehow Ford is keeping the info on this very tight.
