Tonneau Cover Length

As I search for an aftermarket tonneau cover, I keep seeing 5'7" listed on the tonneau webpages for the cover and 5'5" for the bed length on Ford's webpage. What should I be looking for on the tonneau websites?

5'7" sounds about right, you want it to overhang a little on each end to be water tight.

Anything that says it will fit a 2021+ F150 with the short bed (5' X") will be fine.

Thank you all for answering! I will buy once I'm within 30 days of delivering. For anyone interested in it, my choice comes down to 2022 Ford F150 Lightning Gator EFX Hard Fold Tonneau Cover | Tonneau Covers World for a hardcover (with more work) or 2022 Ford F150 Gator SFX Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover | Tonneau Covers World for a softcover at a cheaper price.

I know nothing about that company, but you should know a few things about tonneau covers.

First, many of the manufacturers won't let the price go below a specified price, so you'll see it the same everywhere. However, sites can discount the ORDER, so if you buy multiple things and push them, you might find they discount the cover by taking money off the ORDER.
