Watch our week be like the real early builds and sit around for months waiting on chips they’re too busy installing on the line…

Re-apply for your auto loan today. The FED will raise rates Wednesday. I redid my auto loan and got a better rate then I did one month ago now that is locked in for another month.I'm of the mindset that "oh well, stuff happens", but man it sure would be nice if they just kept better updates available (you know the data is available internally, even if they don't share it). I assume its to make sure competitors and the industry don't know the full stats on the business, but if they want to become a "order first" company, the need to get much better at this.
Biggest issue will probably be missing out on the better interest rates.

My dealer is anxious as well... 2 of the bigger Ford dealers in the area have already gotten their demos. In the auto trader study of the 160 DEMO models:
I bet the dealers are anxious to see their trucks too
- 26 are delivered to dealers, last on 6/10
- 72 are shipped in transit last on 6/11
- 40 are built but not shipped last on 6/10
- 21 still do not have a BUILT date last on 6/10
- 1 does not have an "In Production" date last on 5/5
They should have given the trucks on order those chips instead of demos. Why have a demo if you cant build the trucks. All of us having trucks will sell this a lot more then demos. In the auto trader study of the 160 DEMO models:

No not “just“ before you. I’m blend 4/20. No built status. Chip hold baby !!!Gosh we SOOO close! Ran out of chips just before us! Also not good to hear that we should check back in 3 weeks for an update. Doesn't sound like the get chips daily by any means. steve
Beware mine didn’t either at first, said “pending launch verification” or something, now it’s a chip hold.I just did the Ford chat and they could only tell me that my truck was in production. I asked about any holds and service person said that she did not see any. My blend was 5/26 and in production date was 6/9.
If I show them how I’ve managed to drive my ‘79 F150 with no backup camera and wipers I just don’t use because the “one speed flop” isn’t really that useful, will they give me the truck?Or the rear camera. Either one means the vehicle cannot be released since both are required under FMVSS.
