Picked up my KR, 601A, Max tow, Supercrew, 145" WB, FX4, 7.3Kw. I am a little disappointed in the payload of 1330lbs as I was assuming more like 1830lbs. Now I'm a little on the edge towing a 32ft trailer with 880lbs of hitch weight!

Has a set of Michelin’s on it
I actually went thru the capacities and weights, added up options and such, and came up with virtually the same payload within 100 pounds

I test drove this one today. Might buy it. Was planning on an Ecoboost for more payload but this one was pretty sweet with the power boost - think I can make that payload work.

Nice, another confirmation of what I ordered, I could approach 1600?? I have the same truck on order, no power tail gate, no moonroof (that's likely 80 lbs?). But yes to smaller weight increases (unleashed, tow mirrors, active prep, work surface, rear storage). Maybe closer to 1550? I'd be very happy with that or greater!

Finally got a chance to test drive the powerboost. Lariat trim. Way too loaded from my taste but a good reference point. Still crazy fast and comfortable!!

That is great to see, gives me hope my 600A should be over 1400, so I may be able to get close to the 12,400 max tow with 10% tongue weight and just the driver when I need to pull an enclosed car trailer. I might have a little higher number without the 20" wheels and electronic running boards, but at least it should be close. Thanks for posting yours.

I wonder how much weight the reclining seats add? And how much payload you gain from going with 18" tires (if an option on a KR). Seems like you might be able to approach 1500 with that setup....

KR 600A starts with a really good payload and it is the only way to get 18" wheels. BUT there are so many options where if you just pick one of them, it forces the entire 601A package (power boards, tailgate, massage seats, 20" wheels as all the weighty options).

Heavy Duty Payload Package gives you a 7,850lb GVWR, the heavier springs also make it much more firm unloaded and the rear axle is beefed up.
