No it is not plugged in. My truck is in sleep mode. I do not want to wake it because I do not want to have my access blocked.

Waking it has not removed access, at least yet. Haven't pressed start, but locking the vehicle wakes it up and updates the app. Also will let you see if everything is fully closed (seen left rear door ajar and trunk ajar). YMMV

This is a little tangent from the thread, but I've been relying on Ford Chat as a means of seeking updates and even though there is typically a long wait time to chat with someone it was relatively reliable. Yesterday, the option for "Start Chatting" disappeared from the Contact Us part of the Ford website (at least for me). Maybe I used up my allotment of chats? . Curious if anyone else had the same experience? For me, the site only shows options for Social Media, Accessibility, Phone, and Mail.

@jredondox posted a picture of what I think is my truck, I was really hoping they would accept the activation request when they got it off the train. Still pending

@Hamtech @Rekoil, using fordpass I turned on notifications for when doors are unlocked.
I did this after they parked it yesterday. So I’ll see where that gets me. Don’t know if they see onscreen notification - which might motivate to decline access/reset.

i still think 90 miles on odometer is more than a little testing, see that most current build/ships are a lot less.

Well well well, I just received this today. This is fantastic news. Unless this is another screw up by Ford, my vehicle should arrive by the end of them month. Given that it supposedly didn't leave the railyard in Mesquite until the 18th, I wonder if they flatbed the truck up to Dearborn since this is only 7 days past since it left Texas.

Maybe Ford realized they screwed up and decided to take care of me for their mess up. They could make it all better by giving me $10,000 off of my truck when it arrives.

In one of the FB groups there was a guy this week that has the same scenario as you. His truck made it to San Antonio, but they told him it was staying on the rail car and going back to Detroit. I asked him to PM me and I was going to put him in touch with you so you all could trade stories, but I didn't hear back from him. I guess yours may not be the only one, but Ford should have already had you another truck made and shipped by now.


EDIT - wow you just posted that last post while I was typing. Congrats - hoping that truck arrives. Will be interesting to see if the VIN is the same or if they rebuilt your truck.

Maybe that is what actually happened. I just received a built email from Ford about 5 minutes ago with an estimated deliver of July 24th. If it is the same truck, they would have to have sent it back by truck, because there is no way that it went back by train and they got everything fixed in 7 days since it was supposed to leave Texas on the 18th. So this guy might have good luck too with a quick turnaround.
