As someone said, Ford is trying to get as many out the door as possible so they can report it on their Q2 earnings report. I’m sure they’ll be asked specifically about Lightning shipments on their earnings call, as well. They need to have good news for the street.
I saw the same thing but that got me wondering. Out the door counts for something? I would think it would need to be SOLD by the end of June, not in transport somewhere.

I am very grateful and happy to note I also joined the club overnight. Hoping for very good news for everyone else soon. Estimated arrival is July 21 to July 27. I'm hoping to beat that by at least 10 days. My email came at 2:44 AM Central for those tracking and curious.

Have peoples trucks been showing up early? Im out in here is San Diego. I would love for the truck to show early but looking at the other threads I haven't seen anyone here getting the truck early.

Correct - I posted that a few days ago. The manager that I had spoken with noted they book the sale and revenue / profit I believe when it ships. So as long as it is on a rail car the numbers improve.

When things were running smoothly a few weeks ago (before the 5/23 week went off the rails) I believe some trucks were beating their estimated delivery dates. Ford doesn't want your truck showing up late. Those dates they give are long estimates.

They already sold it to the dealer. It’s pretty standard to book revenue when product ships unless there are specially negotiated terms in the contract.

My ford pass has a button to activate vehicle. Press the button and it goes into a minute or two of trying to activate. Then it says "accept prompt in vehicle". Is there anything special to work around this?

Agree - the orderapp tracker actually lists what he calls an invoice date - Mine was May 11. That same date is on the window sticker down by the 4 digit order code.

Unfortunately no, it has to be done in the truck... Some friendly plant worker has to do it

@tommolog has had his delivery window missed at least twice now. I’m not sure if he got the truck yet but if he hasn’t then it’s been missed three times. The initial estimate they have him was 6/6-6/12, i believe. They just kept moving it forward 6 days after they missed the promised window. It looks like they’ve extended the delivery windows quite a bit in the last few weeks.

Issues with rail, and lack of people doing convoy. This is not only hurting Ford, but others as well.

My activation in Ford Pass was denied a couple of days ago. Since then when I try it I get "Feature Unavailable" messages. They probably added me to that bad list. Just hoping it'll be on its way now.
