Ive go the same truck and the same delivery week. Had my email for 5-6 days so far. They need to ship it or it will be late! steve

Just called Union Pacific for the 1000th time but finally got a different message.

The machine said “There is no record of this equipment on system lines.”

Maybe it’s been dropped off at the Richmond yard?

My delivery window starts on 7/9 so it would be right on time. Now, let’s see how long it takes to get from Richmond to Redwood City.

Have you tried this trucking site to see if a delivery Order ID for your truck has been issued? If so (they have been contracted to deliver to your dealer), then you can signup to get access to United’s tracking site…..

I have and there is one! I have been watching that site too for the past week. No changes yet. I did sign up for the delivery receipt

I noticed my dealer has three new Lightnings showing up as being delivered (they got allocated ~60 trucks).

I looked at their dates and they all made it from Built to Delivered around 30 days:

1. Production - 5/20 > Built 6/4 > Delivered sometime before 7/6
2 Production - 5/16 > Built 5/30 > Delivered sometime before 7/6
3 Production - 5/6 > Built 6/1 > Delivered sometime before 7/6

This is to Sacramento (Folsom lake ford).

Assuming that holds, even with the rail issues, hopefully my truck (built 7/2) makes it early August. My range says 7/23-29 but not too confident I'll see it in July.


It's possible they arrived before 6/30 as that's when I setup email notification for United Road for Folsom lake Ford and I didn't get any notification of deliveries (but not sure how reliable that is). All three do show up in United Roads system.

@TaxmanHog did a great post in another thread (???) on how to view on this site…best done in on a cell phone or browser window minimized to roughly the same proportions. A Captcha window will show that has to be completed in order for a search to be completed…..

My delivery window opens in 2 days! My truck is sitting at a train yard only 45 minutes away. I wish I could just go pick it up myself…

Others who already have your vehicle— did it come with a front license plate holder? Mine didn’t, which surprised the dealer. I found the brace and screws for it under the rear seats just now, I’m going to ask the dealer to install it (unless there are already pre-drilled holes in front bumper, but I didn’t see any).

Railcar is in Arizona right now, it's part of a huge Rail....... I think we might be seeing a lot more Lightnings delivered in the next two weeks here in California
