I received the Shipped email from Ford at 0430 this morning. No real news flash as the Canadian tracker has this info posted already. 7/26-8/1 time frame which seems feasable at this point. I will continue the breath holding...

With the wide variation in shipping estimates I wonder if the shorter ones are planned as full road transport and longer are rail+road. That's the only way I can make sense of the estimates. I'd imagine most places that they'd truck the vehicles are 3 day max transit whereas with the rail transport the timing is slower and they are more likely to end up in a random rail yard waiting for another train to link up to. I don't know, idle speculation.

You live in WNY, all you know is cold. Maybe our trucks are on the train waiting to be unloaded over @ Iron Island, thus the lack of FordPass action? I see car haulers over there all the time, figure they wouldn't come all the way from Dearborn on a hauler, right?

I figured hauler. Only 4-5 hours depending on whether they cut through Canada or not. I could leave now to go pick it up and be back for dinner.
