How is everyone tracking their truck between the "SHIPPED" notification and it arriving at the destination railyard? (While it shows as INACTIVE on the United Road website.)

I seem to recall some of you knowing which train it is on or which switchyard it is at. Is there a thread discussing this level of tracking?

You need to get the railcar number from Ford (Chat/Call) or from your dealer. Depending on what company it is, you can track that railcar.

Mine still says is pending, there's no way this is possible.

I only get an activation error now. Denied me, then either broke it or shut it completely down.

Remove the truck and wait like 12 hours to re-add it back, that's what worked for me. The deny response comes back way too quickly, like it's an app-caching thing.

Ford Chat indicated that my truck is at Ramp 7Y at BEV REV Center, MI awaiting its release. Ford said that there were no holds for repairs or recalls.

What is Ramp 7Y? How close does that make the truck to release?

I believe you are ready for shipping. I truly had a message saying "Pending shipment" but I think once you get to 59 you are just one step away from being loaded up and shipped.

That is how mine progressed before shipment….it was at Ramp 59 for 7 days (including the 4th holiday) before getting notifications it was loaded & shipped (Union Pacific Tracer & Ford…e.g., email, tracker, VVR).

Hi All

I've been at Ramp 59 for a couple of weeks.

I just spoke with a friend who is a lobbyist for a major rail road and he said that they are in turmoil trying to get things moved. The usual staffing, lack of parts for repairs, etc.

I will remain patient and hopeful.

My truck said it was going to ship "Convoy". I thought that meant on a car carrier. Does that make any sense?

The tracker finally says built on 7/11 and now says shipped but I don't have a delivery estimate.

You need to ask your dealer for your rail car on the VVR report. EVERY Lightning said Convoy on the sticker, which simply isn't the case. Only the closet to Dearborn go by truck. Many others do go by truck for the last mile, but almost all go the majority of the way on Rail. Get that rail car number from your dealer and you can do tracking until it is unloaded from the train !

Sign up for United Road. I get an email as soon as my dealer gets a delivery and you can see all incoming vehicles.

Just check both ford trackers and it went back to built... Order track still shows in transit...
