But, after speaking to a guy at United Road, he said they may no even have the truck or be transporting it. Every VIN enters their system automatically even if they won't be the ones to transport it.
Mine sat in Richmond for 12 days before getting on a convoy. It showed on the UnitedRoad tracker during its stay there and the status never changed when it was shipped, so I assume it went by some other means. No worries about the battery, it only loses about 1% per day, and dealer will give it a full charge before he hands it off to you. Hoping that today is your day!

Just took my truck home today.
It was sitting at Twin Oaks, PA for about 2 weeks and finally delivered to my dealer on 7/11. They delivered 5 trucks that day (3 ICE F-150's, my lightning, and the dealer demo lightning).

As others have said, the truck is great and well worth the wait. Hoping the rest of the 5/16 gang and earlier builds get theirs soon.

@TaxmanHog here's some stats...
initial ETA 6/22-6/29
on 6/29 ETA changed to 7/2-7/8
on 7/8 ETA changed to 7/9-7/14
delivered to dealer on 7/11
Congrats on getting it , but sigh... 2 weeks @ Twin Oaks... this is something I don't like to hear. Can you DM me your VIN/Dealer? I am trying to figure something out.

Guess my dealer got used to my weekly request for VVR so they preemptively sent me one this morning....nothing new...DELAY...awaiting shipping. @Ford Motor Company needs to figure out a way to let people pick these trucks up themselves instead of relying on rail transportation. If there is to be a rail strike this situation is only going to get worse - if Michigan law and dealer contracts need changes to enable this then stop wasting time hoping it's going to get better - it's likely not!

So I’m really behind as I had a camping trip last weekend, but I received my truck on July 7th! Sorry guys and girls for not chiming in!

So far the truck is the by far the best vehicle I have ever owned by a loooong way. I have noticed a few things, and discovered things that I absolutely love.

1. Blue Cruise on the interstate is amazing. I’ve had a little “ping-ponging on occasion, but I’ve found that If I take the wheel and hold it centered in the lane it usually corrects the problem. Changing lanes always seems to fix the problem. This is probably my 2nd favorite feature and is a complete game changer IMHO. Of course I am coming from a car that had nothing but cruise control, so …

I was also surprised to find Blue Cruise works very well on non-mapped highways. Having to put pressure and slightly “turn” the wheel every minute or so is really annoying and feels slightly dangerous (slight pressure isn’t enough, it has to be actual resistance to the wheel), but I do feel that I am paying much more attention to the road ahead. It even works on roads that I would consider to be very poorly marked.

2. This is the quiets vehicle I have ever been in. There is very, very little road and wind noise. I’ll test the actual dB with my watch if anyone is curious, but the truck is a true pleasure to ride in. I don’t like noise, so oddly this may be my favorite feature of the truck.

3. Launches are fantastic. Everyone I’ve had in the truck to show it off can’t help but laugh or giggle. That steady, smooth acceleration is just amazing! For you coaster heads out there, I think the launch is very similar to Flight of Fear and King’s Island and King’s Dominion. The fact that we can do this in a truck is astounding.

4. My phone overheats occasionally on the charging pad. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it has come up with a warning on 3 occasions so far. I‘ve started leaving the door open to see if it will stay cooler, which seems to help a little, but it is quite odd. I am constantly running CarPlay which may be contributing to the problem, but I still think it’s odd. The maps also starts dropping frames and gets quite jittery when the phone starts getting hot. Very odd.

5. I removed my am/fm antenna and replaced it with a screw-in plug. I rarely listen to terrestrial radio (usually stream music or listen to podcasts/audiobooks) and figure any little tiny bit of reducing drag may help. OK, ok, there is no way the antenna will actually effect anything, but I still like the way it looks, lol.

6. The Anti-Matter Blue is the strangest color. It seems to randomly be “blue”. I initially thought it would be blue in direct sunlight, which it is to an extent, but it actually shows up more blue around twilight which was totally unexpected. It is a fingerprint magnet though.

7. I ordered Husky floor liners and will put them in this weekend. After that I’m going to get ceramic window tinting to help with the Georgia summers.

8. Not original, but I’ve named the truck Sparky. It was that or Bleu, and Sparky feels more fun.

I really am in love with the truck. Range is great (at 60 I’m getting 2.3 to 2.4 m/kWh), the ride is incredibly smooth and quiet, acceleration is kick-you-in-the-butt amazing, and the technology is astounding.

As everyone else has said, please let me know if anyone has any questions or wants pictures of anything specific! I am more than happy to show off Sparky and talk about this amazing vehicle. Ford knocked it out of the park with this one!

I'm supposedly still on track for delivery this week. Just checked the Ford tracker and it still shows Estimated Delivery 7/17/2022 - 7/23/2022.

My dealer doesn't seem to be able to see anything. They said they don't know what a vehicle visibility report is, and they can only see the same estimated delivery window.

So I've been lurking about the past few days on various week build groups (I'm 5/16 group and blended 5/18). Most I've been following are later than my group and seems every day some lucky camper is getting the call / email their ship has come in. I can no longer feign happiness for them. I'm now on my third expected delivery date and my vehicle has not shipped so in 2 more days I'm on to my 4th expected delivery window. Flabbergasted a truck built 2 months ago is still not en route to Maryland. In my mind this roll-out has been an epic fail. I will now see the second Fed rate increase since my truck was built. Seriously at this point, when it eventually arrives I don't know if I'll bother with it and keep using my 2018 Outback for jobs that would be much better handled by this truck. I'm so disappointed @Ford Motor Company - from unbelievable excitement to being beaten down day after day, week after week, month after month and nothing from Ford except the email that inevitably comes once their 10-day delivery window is missed yet again. Unbelievable so many of us "lottery" winners within the first four weeks of production sit in parking lot limbo while much later builds have their vehicles. Congratulations, sincerely @Ford Motor Company from changing my excitement to angst & anxiety. Can't even begin to imagine how folks earlier than me are feeling - it's like every day is Groundhog Day and makes me wonder if this has been so screwed up why should I have faith in @Ford Motor Company at all?

Took delivery this afternoon. So far impressions are more or less as expected - generally hauls @$$. Steering / handling is still very much like most full size trucks where you feel undulations in the road transmitted into the steering wheel and pedals. It's definitely not as smooth of a ride as our Tahoe - but quieter for sure. Hope that those from this week who are still waiting get theirs soon!

Is there really a truckers strike in California? I called my dealer to ask for the rail car number (which they reluctantly gave me), but the sales manager said that they probably wont get the car onto the lot because “the truckers are on strike”.

I took it as the dealer trying to under promise and over deliver, but I am just curious.
