That's great news, I still think we will see more MY22 scheduling in a week or 3, patience, there is still a lot of space in late August and all of September build weeks, of the entire ordering universe the forum represents a 5% proportion, there is still MY22 production capacity. (IMHO)
They are still saying it was pushed to 2023 even though it hit priority one, I sent an email to Tim to see if he has any info.

Do you get a 23 at the 22 price? Seems like a win to me.

Not sure if this was posted, found it on the blue oval forum date July 18th

Per Friday's FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin), below is the updated schedule for the 2022/2023MY F-150 BEV Lightning.

  • 04/01/2022 - 2022MY Fleet Final Order Due Date
  • 07/28/2022 - 2022MY Last Day to Spec Change
  • 10/09/2022 - 2022MY Balance Out Date

  • 08/01/2022 - 2023MY Order Bank Open Date
  • 08/04/2022 - 2023MY Scheduling Begins
  • 10/10/2022 - 2023MY Job #1 Date

The 2023 F-150 BEV Lightning Order Guide will be released on or about the date that the 2023 Order Bank opens and will be available for download in the Dealer Order Guides section at that time.
All dates are subject to change.

I called Ford today and they said were supposed to have information in late July but they are still waiting, said to call back Friday

Wasn’t this posted earlier but with the caveat that it’s for fleet ordering only? Almost nobody on here would qualify for that.

Checking the Maverick order dates on the same site for 2023 and they align with what Tim B and the Maverick forums are saying. 8/2.
08/02/2022 - 2023MY Order Bank Open Date

Hoping it not just fleet.

I find it wierd that Ford is catering so much to fleets, but retail sales would be where they make the most profit due to higher trims being bought. They could probably easily sell all the Lariats and Platinums they can make for the next 3 years.

Heck, they are talking about 2023 ordering, yet a lot of people who reserved in the first few hours don't have a scheduled build date yet.

Hope so too, looking forward to converting my first day reservation to an order! I guess we’ll know by the end of the week, they’ll certainly release pricing/ build pages ahead of ordering.

Cause the vehicle makes a huge amount of sense for fleets and they are trying to increase their fleet sales. They are making up the profits by selling their 'Pro' fleet management services SaaS offering.

I wish this Forum had a section for those of us who are waiting for 2023. I guess this thread could be it.
Just rumor, but my dealer is thinking Ford is going to eliminate the reservation system for 2023 and allow anyone to order.

kind of my point but the keyboard warriors cant understand the math. As well your only looking at a tiny sample with the forum. To each their own, ignorance is bliss and it shows. Theres news networks that pander to people just like that daily.
So maybe you've gone back and forth on this like 100 times, but I don't want to read every message in this thread.

It would make a lot of sense for Ford to convert reservations to Orders and require a deposit. It would help Ford better determine it's future allocations for different states, it would help Ford allocate production on different trim levels and try to gauge actual demand. And honestly, if I got an email that asked me to convert to an order, pay a deposit, and I likely wouldn't get my truck until fall of 2023, I would appreciate that. That data would be helpful for me and for Ford.

Well my dealer tells me that out of more than 760 reservations, they have had 8 converted to 2022 Orders and they were told to expect somewhere between 6 and 12 MY 2023 allocations. Apparently I'm now 4th in line. So hopefully if Ford scraps the reservations I will still keep my place in line.

My dealer can beat up your dealer and he told me it would be waves again. Kidding aside, I think it would be a huge fail if ford did not at the very least give those who carried over for a pro/xlt to have first opportunity to do just that in some form of first wave. I do think conversion rate is going to suffer from various factors and will end MY2023 being opened to the public once reservation holders have ordered or passed. I think the idea of Ford opening it up to public is likely being discussed internally because they've looked at the math and dont see reservation holders buying the number of plats and lariats they want to force out. I wonder if they will let people carryover to 2024 for Pro/Xlt again or if they are gonna say take it or leave it when pro/Xlt are gone.

I just can't imagine Ford would open this up to a "free for all" without some type of wave system. It would be chaos....

That's a quick way to lose a 20 million dollar interest free loan 🤯
