2021 Bronco 2 door Badlands manual
My Pro model was built last week, so it’s time to start ordering the essentials to make it my own and protect it from road debris. Here is the working list I have, I’m making updates as things arrive.

Mud flaps front and rear. 9/12 Was considering Ford or Husky, ended up ordering Rokblokz and will see if I can make the rears fit decently. If not I’m fine just running the fronts.

Carpet frunk mat. 9/10 I received this, the fit isn’t as tight as I would like but maybe it will flatten out a bit. I may try to return it.

Tailgate dampener. 9/12 Ordered
https://accessories.ford.com/products/f-150-2021-tailgate-viscous-dampening-cartridge-1

All weather floor mats for vinyl floor. 9/12 Ordered.
https://www.weathertech.com/ford/20...-type/vinyl-floor/f-150-fold-flat-storage/no/

Under seat cargo organizer. 9/10 Installed, looks and fits perfect. Someone could make their own, but for $40 I like the stock look.
https://accessories.ford.com/produc...efSrc=6972483272895&nosto=productpage-nosto-3

Center console safe, hopefully the E&G one fits, it was perfect on my Raptor. 9/12 E&G is supposed to release a 2021+ model in October.

I’m also going to tint the two front windows and possibly add some PPF on the hood and front end. Normally I’m a hard tonneau cover guy, but with the frunk I’m thinking I can keep the bed uncovered. Anyone have some ideas for things I missed?

Added to the list:
Builtright Industries rear seat latches. 9/12 The latch is easy enough to reach by hand I don’t really need to order this piece.
Stubby antenna is a maybe for me, on my Bronco I used a stainless allen screw and a neoprene faucet washer. 9/12 The Cravenspeed 3” stubby I put on my Bronco loses the couple of stations I might listen to, so I may just keep the stock antenna.
Step bars, hopefully I can find some OEM takeoffs. I mainly want these to protect the body from debris, at 6’4” I don’t need them to get in. Maybe Raptor steps would be an option, they usually are tucked up a bit higher. 9/10 installed some 6” wide OEM steps I bought off ebay, they fit and work great.
Kicker HS10 hideaway powered subwoofer to go under a front seat or behind the rear seat
Plugnplaykits.com harness adapter or Kicker Key 200.4 amp with harness

9/12 More adds to the list:
I really want the door keypad on my Pro so I don’t have to pull the fob out of my pocket to lock the doors. I found what I think are the right parts and ordered them.

Note that the standard F150 mudflaps have been tested. They are close but not an exact fit.

Might want to add some running boards to the list.

That tailgate dampener looks promising. I am going to look for an installation video to see how difficult it is to install.

Carpet frunk mat doesn’t make sense to me. With groceries, building materials, kids sporting equipment, etc. the rubber in the frunk is super easy to clean with a shop vac and spills wipe away. No need for the mat.

What tonneau cover did you go with? I was going to get a ford one, but decided on a gator roll up. Should have it in a few days. Still figuring out what sidestep/running board option to go with.

Ford sells a set of Gatorback rear mud flaps spec for the 2022 Lightning on their accessories website….

The Gatorback mud flaps seem like a good product, but way overpriced and I don’t want the chrome. I found this video showing the factory flap install, they seem to fit close enough to protect the truck.

Is the floor rubber or just hard plastic? It looks like plastic in the videos so the mat should keep stuff from sliding around as much. There might be a side benefit of sound dampening in that compartment. I had similar mats in previous SUV’s and car trunks that held up well and the Velcro blocks work. The mat can be washed with a pressure washer if it gets really dirty. I’m planning on keeping an ARB fridge and my work tools in the frunk day to day.

It’s a hard plastic, but has plenty of grooves to grip items and slots to lock items in place. You also have hooks in there for bags and a net is included to hold items. With the drain there, you could power wash it if you want or pull the insert out and power wash it on the ground.

My PRO accessory plan:

Taking all the OEM parts from the XLT, Lariat, and Platinum folks who don’t want them.
There are lots of posts of people looking to swap Lariat Wheels and tires for the ones on the Pro or XLT!

Does anyone know of the Pro tailgate locks when you lock the truck? Does it have a manual lock? Thanks.
