I started the process but bailed out when I got to the low ball appraisal of my trade-in.I assume it's just superficial information collection and I'll still go through all of the same dealer BS when I get there. But I was curious if anyone had experience.
Driveway.com offered me $9,300 for my Flex, Ford offered $3,300.I started the process but bailed out when I got to the low ball appraisal of my trade-in.
I'll complete the process in person, this online experience might work well when not trading vehicles. There was a process for bring your own bank financing, I'd assume that is subject to the in person processing by the F&I specialist.
We shopped around. We were getting quotes of between $7k and $12k for our 2013 Ford Edge. We sold it private party for $14k. Extra downpayment. Trading in is throwing money away.I started the process but bailed out when I got to the low ball appraisal of my trade-in.

Hey! Mine activated. Not sure where it’s at! Hopefully close.
Oh man they are taking the back roads. Or they are testing it off roadCan't you see it on the map now?
My dealer had no issues registering it as passenger truck in NY.How will you change it I believe its a NY requirement if the truck is > 6000 lbs
Driveway was the same for my Tacoma. It took a month from getting that quote until the vehicle was gone and paid. If you have that kind of time, it’s great. They should be filing for bankruptcy in the next few years as there’s no way they are making a profit. My taco went to a dealer out of state and was still for sale last I checked for a few hundred more than they paid me. I see a similar bubble here like carvana.Driveway.com offered me $9,300 for my Flex, Ford offered $3,300.
Ugh, wonder what fresh hell driving this thing with commercial plates will mean in this frigging state. My dealer had no issues registering it as passenger truck in NY.
Good lord what they are they doing there! In no scenario would that be an ideal place to be going from LV to Lake Tahoe.Oh man they are taking the back roads. Or they are testing it off road
They 3/4 of the way to Carson City Capital Ford!!
Yup, a bunch of these pop up car wholesalers will close shop in the next 24 months.Driveway was the same for my Tacoma. It took a month from getting that quote until the vehicle was gone and paid.
