that decimal point has to be in the wrong place. They are spending more in tracking and billing than they will make charging people under a dollar

Depending on how many non-teslas sign up plus there are no Chargers that work right now x 12….. it’s basically free money for Elon.

They could also just be gauging if there is real interest out there

Should be really interesting to see Tesla owners’ reactions long-term when they see a Lightning taking up so much space. I learned from my EA chargers that those spaces aren’t convenient for charging my truck. And having owned three Teslas previously, those dosages are smaller and made for cars charging in the rear with short cables.

Yup. They have a similar system in Europe as well. $0.99 is for the preferred member pricing. You just pay higher rates without the membership.

Even faster than Tesla adding CCS cables, we really need EA to step up their game and replace the Chademo's with more CCS.

Every EA with a chademo cable already has CCS cable as well.

I don't see anything in my Tesla app. I'm an existing Tesla owner with the app installed and using Android. Maybe since my payment details already are linked to Tesla I can't get the option?

Correct but that ChaDeMo cable is likely never used and we will be needing the CCS spots soon enough.
