Yikes! Sorry to hear about the delays my build week brothers. Anybody able to decipher the module data and figure out what's missing?

8/15 build week, 8/22 in production, 9/3 microchip delay on chat...

Anyone know anything beyond what were getting in chat? I glanced at other weeks and haven't heard anyone mention it. Some folks in last weeks build are getting their trucks and I'd be super excited now to get mine by the previous ETA of 9/18.

Hey @ResidualJinx - this seem to be affecting the 8/22 build week as well. I had an ETA for arrival at the dealer of 9/28 but just talk the the Ford Chat and my truck is on hold now. The could not tell my the reason for the hold, but my assumption is the same as you and @Weather Dawg. Interesting point - in the 8/22 group we had on truck with the same config was @Weather Dawg move to Built last night.

8/22 build week, 8/31 in production, truck on hold now with ETA of completion on 9/28, no ETA for arrival at dealer.

I'm going to guess the person that went into built yesterday was probably already built and the system just wasn't tracking as much yet. I'm really interested to find out what part they're short and an ETA of when they're going to get them. I'm a Lariat ER with tow, tech and spray-in going to Cali.

I wonder if it's the scales that we didn't get taken off our stickers.

My money is on IR led modules for the bluecruze.

I cannot see them needing to get to any of the main body control, pcm, or major system module. Most likely it's gonna be a piece you can sit in the cab and touch without dismantling a bunch of trim.

If it were something buried under layers of trim I'd imagine the trucks wouldn't even get to the stage of being run down the assembly line. They don't want a bunch of loose parts laying around inside a cab of truck or in the bed with the potential for being lost or damage.

Now, if the pcm, bcm, etc is easy to get to then I can see that. But our modules popped last week. That seems to indicate that most of the systems are functioning and the vehicle can move. I'm curious if the on board scales are integrated into another main control module like the tow module if there even is one.

Does anyone know how many pcm bcm etc. These trucks have?

Does anyone that got told they are on hold do to chip shortage marked as "built" on the ford.com tracker?

I got marked as built on 8/30. As of yesterday with ford chat I got the following message "Your order is awaiting shipment at this time with an ETA for delivery Sep-17-2022. The rail car details aren't available at this time."

There was no mention of chip hold for me, but I did not ask specifically either.
